In this chapter from A THEORY OF EXPANDED LOVE, a young teen gives birth to a baby girl and the next day, desperately needs to see her newborn, before the adoptive parents come to claim her. At the nursery, Annie is distracted by a young couple who has come to take their adoptive baby home.
