I just posted my first published piece of non-fiction, called “Grandpa’s Story.”
Noting the number of years that have passed since then, it’s a meditation on the ephemeral reality of our lives. How much has changed, what continues in all our lives – gardens, family, funerals. I make a reference to ‘fast food outlets’, which Grandpa shunned – they were just beginning to dot the landscape.
